Who is the captain of RCB ?

From 2013 to 2021, the captain of RCB was Virat Kohli. However, from 2022, Faf became the captain of RCB and led the team very well, taking them to the playoffs twice. But as Faf is getting older and there is a mega auction for the next three years, RCB wants to change the captain and is looking for good options. An explosive spin-hitting batsman has been playing for RCB for the past 3 seasons. He has also represented INDIA in test matches and holds a central contract from BCCI. RCB can definitely consider him as an option for captaincy, as he will be available for the entire IPL and is a consistent player. Consistency is a crucial trait for a captain, as it boosts the team's confidence.

Rajat Patidar has played a lot of domestic cricket for MP, so he also has a good understanding of domestic players.

He is also a cool person on the field and doesn't show a lot of expression like MS Dhoni. He silently does his work to take the team forward, focusing on the team's goals rather than his individual goals.

2) GLENN MAXWELL 

Maxwell played a lot of this format from his debut and was one of the big hitters in this format. He played spin a lot better than other foreign players. He is a very experienced guy who has played in many leagues in Australia and other parts of the world.

He is also a T20 World Cup champion, where he contributed a lot to the Australian team. He has also captained the Melbourne Stars in the BBL. Although he has not won a trophy yet, he has shown great leadership qualities.

He knows how to handle clutch situations, as he has demonstrated in various World Cups where he won the trophy and played in many finals. Therefore, his experience can assist RCB in achieving their first glory. Maxwell is also a good friend of Virat Kohli, so he will receive support from him as well. Consequently, he can certainly be a great choice for RCB.

3) BEN STOKES

The "BAZBALL" captain who has taken England's test cricket to the next level. He possesses all the leadership qualities required for a captain to lead a team to their first trophy win. Who can forget his performance in pressure situations, such as the 2019 World Cup final or the 2022 T20 World Cup final, where he was the man of the match in both finals and secured the trophy for his team. He is undoubtedly exceptional in high-pressure situations.

He is as aggressive as Virat Kohli, which can be very dangerous for any opponents in the IPL. He also has a very good record in the IPL, where he performed well with both bat and ball.

4) RAVICHANDRAN ASHWIN 

Now this can be an interesting choice because he is the scientist of the game. He recently won the TNPL as a captain where he himself made his team in the auction, captained himself, batted himself at first down, and bowled economically, so he has all the qualities to lead RCB. He is very experienced and has played a lot of cricket in INDIA. 

He  also knows domestic players very well, so he may be the perfect option for at least the next three years. If RCB is looking for the next three years to only nurture another captain for the future, then Ashwin can be a good option for the next three years.

5) AIDEN MARKRAM 

2 times SA20 champions , first time world cup final for South Africa so definitely there is some quality of leadership in Aiden so why he can't be a option for captaincy in a ipl team and why not for RCB . Yes he can be good option as he is very calm and cool on the field and get the job done for his team .

There is a good bond between Virat Kohli and Aiden Markram, so Virat will support Markram and there will be mutual respect between both of them. Aiden, as a batter, is also very good in T20. He can anchor the innings as well as play explosive cricket against spin and fast bowlers equally.

How virat kohli can become the captain of RCB again ?

If RCB can't find a new option as a captain, then they can certainly go back to Virat Kohli and request him to take on that additional responsibility for the team to captain again.

Virat Kohli can play 6 to 8 years easily in the IPL and can win the IPL trophy for his team and get that undone job done before retirement. We can certainly confirm that Virat will also be eager to take that responsibility and captain the side again, as there is no pressure in their international team where he plays only as a player.
